Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team, ensure regulatory compliance, and direct the care strategy for residents in a compassionate, high-quality care environment.

The DON will oversee recruitment, schedule coordination, payroll oversight, and on-floor support to drive excellence in restorative care and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas.
• Proven leadership in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
• Strong clinical skills and restorative care approach.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing services in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of nursing staff.
• Provide on-floor support to maintain high-quality care.
• Review payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain resident records and ensure appropriate documentation.

Your Impact as Director of Nursing

In this role, you will:

• Ensure Compliance: Oversee all nursing services in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines
• Lead the Team: Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of nursing staff
• Support Direct Care: Step in to assist on the floor when needed to maintain consistent, high-quality care
• Review Payroll: Approve payroll submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance
