About the Director of Nursing Position

As Director of Nursing at Brookdale, you will utilize your leadership qualities to inspire, lead, and manage the overall operation of the clinical team to provide the highest quality of care and services for our residents. You will proactively build relationships with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers for the coordination of exceptional personalized care. You will collaborate with community leadership, mentor and engage your staff, and build resident and family satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Education as required to obtain and maintain a valid state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience; clinical leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of technology, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and electronic documentation.

Base pay will be determined by skills and experience. Full-time associates are eligible for annual bonuses and referral bonuses. Temporary associates are not benefits-eligible but may participate in the 401(k).

Veterans, transitioning active-duty military, and military spouses are encouraged to apply. Brookdale offers to cover naturalization fees (up to $725) for qualified associates after one year of employment.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day clinical services of a complex, multi-product, or large community. Ensure residents’ healthcare needs are met with respect and dignity, maintaining high-quality care as needs change. Supervise, lead, and coach licensed nurses and direct care staff. May lead a clinical leadership team of five or more members. The complexity level is determined based on factors like community size, product lines, medication management, assessment requirements, licensure, regulatory complexity, and skilled services.

Salary Range

$102,310.00 - $130,330.00 per year
