Vetter Senior Living in Kentucky seeks a Director of Clinical Informatics to lead clinical documentation, coding accuracy, regulatory compliance, and EHR optimization across our communities. You will partner with clinical, operations, and billing leaders to ensure systems reflect resident care and support organizational goals.

This RN-led role requires ICD-10 expertise, strong communication, and the ability to educate and coach care teams; travel to locations as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ICD-10 coding principles and clinical documentation standards.
• Experience with electronic health record platforms in healthcare.
• Ability to analyze clinical workflows and implement practical system-based solutions.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and promote accurate ICD-10 diagnosis coding across the organization.
• Act as the primary clinical resource for electronic health record systems and documentation processes.
• Evaluate documentation practices, coding procedures, and EHR utilization for improvements.
• Conduct audits to support compliance, coding accuracy, and quality outcomes.
• Deliver education, training, and coaching for clinical leaders and care teams.
• Collaborate with reimbursement, billing, and operations partners on documentation and coding concerns.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements, software enhancements, and industry best practices.
• Lead workflow improvement, standardization, and operational effectiveness initiatives.
• Foster relationships that promote communication, accountability, and clinical excellence across communities.
