Job summary

Touchstone Communities is seeking a Director of Clinical Education (RN) for our Stone Oak Care Center in San Antonio, TX. The role leads the Infection Control Program, oversees clinical education, and participates in on-call rotation while supporting care delivery on the floor as needed.

Ideal candidate will have Texas RN licensure and experience in skilled nursing or long-term care, with a passion for building strong teams and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care; leadership/education preferred.
• Team-first mindset with ability to lead, teach, and support staff.
• Passionate about building strong teams and a positive culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage Infection Control Program, education, compliance and best practices.
• Design and deliver orientation, competency training, and ongoing clinical educate.
• Serve on the QAPI Committee to identify learning opportunities and improve outcomes.
• Mentor nursing staff and promote accountability and growth.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide hands-on clinical support as needed.
