Job summary

Touchstone Communities seeks an experienced RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to guide a large skilled nursing team in a high-demand environment. This hands-on leader will support daily clinical operations, mentor nurses and CNAs, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds an active Texas RN license, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and thrives in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (or Compact State RN license).
• Proven nurse leadership experience in skilled nursing.
• Leading large teams in high-acuity settings.
• Calm, confident leader who thrives in busy environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Nursing to support daily clinical operations in a fast-paced skilled nursing setting.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses and CNAs, fostering trust, accountability, and teamwork.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and provide leadership support during off-hours.
• Lead by example, stepping in to support floor staffing alongside the nursing team when needed.
