The position emphasizes accurate documentation, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and timely response to medical needs in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with state licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Experience supervising LPNs and CNAs preferred.
• Ability to document accurately in medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to physicians and care team.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Document nursing care and resident responses in records.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs as needed.
• Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
• Respond to medical emergencies with appropriate interventions.
