Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Dialysis Coordinator (RN) to deliver safe patient care in the Inpatient Renal Care Unit. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, BLS certification, nephrology knowledge, and experience in hemodialysis. You will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Keeps current in nephrology care and treatments.
• Certification in Nephrology Nursing or Apheresis Nursing encouraged.
• Two years experience in Acute Care Hemodialysis nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Inpatient Renal Care Unit.
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise nursing staff under standards of care.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in clinical condition and treatment responses.

Responsibilities

The Dialysis Coordinator (RN) is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Inpatient Renal Care Unit. The Dialysis Coordinator (RN) is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Maintains acquired knowledge and remains current in advancements in nephrology especially Inpatient.
• Certification in Nephrology Nursing, Apheresis Nursing or both is highly encouraged.
• Two Years Experience in Acute Care Hemodialysis nursing.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
