Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of nephrology nursing advancements is encouraged.
• Certification in Nephrology Nursing or Apheresis Nursing is highly encouraged.
• Two years of experience in Acute Care Hemodialysis nursing.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe patient care within the scope of the nursing process in the Inpatient Renal Care Unit.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and treatment response.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and treatment.
