Laredo Medical Center is seeking an RN Dialysis to join our hospital team delivering world-class patient care in a community-focused environment. The RN will coordinate and provide high-quality nursing care, including dialysis treatments, education for patients and families, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• Strong knowledge of nursing process and clinical nursing practices.
• Ability to communicate findings effectively with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care according to nursing process.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, dialysis, and post-discharge care.
• Operate dialysis machines and monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Maintain infection control protocols and document care.
• Ensure patient safety and accurate medical records.
