Job summary

Encompass Health in Texas is seeking a Hemodialysis RN to join our dedicated care team. You will provide direct inpatient dialysis nursing, develop individualized care plans, and support patients through their rehabilitation journey in a state-of-the-art dialysis suite.

As part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, you will educate staff, monitor patient responses, and contribute to positive outcomes while advancing your professional growth within a nationally recognized post-acute care

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification is required.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• CRRN certification preferred (If you don't have it, we can help you obtain it).
• 6 months dialysis nursing experience required.
• 1 year of inpatient hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
• Supervising care and treatments, conducting patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Educating nursing staff on the care of the hemodialysis patient and equipment.
