Job summary

Laredo Medical Center is currently hiring RN Dialysis PRN Days. The RN provides patient-centered care through the nursing process and coordinates with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role includes dialysis patient management, vital signs monitoring, patient and family education, and adherence to infection control and safety standards. Eligible candidates hold RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• RN licensure required for practice in Texas.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care following nursing process.
• Administers medications, monitors for side effects, documents administration.
• Operates dialysis procedures, monitors patients before/during/after treatment.
• Educates patients and families about kidney disease and dialysis.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards during care.
