Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Plano is seeking a Procedural Registered Nurse to oversee patient care and develop personalized care plans. You will assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses, and delegate tasks within the Texas nursing guidelines.

The role requires 1 year of Acute Hospital Dialysis experience, a valid RN license, and willingness to travel to other Baylor Scott & White facilities as needed. Day shift, full-time, with on-call for certain weeknights/weekends.

Qualifications

  • 1 year acute hospital dialysis experience required.
  • RN license and accredited nursing program completion required.
  • BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Willingness to travel to other Baylor Scott & White facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and develop personalized care plans.
  • Oversee nursing diagnoses and patient responses to treatment.
  • Delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff capabilities.
  • Teach patients and families about care plans and procedures.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Plano- Make YOUR move!

Shift- FT Days 3/12 hr. shifts Mon-Sat 7:00A-7:00P

Dialysis position will require call. The requirement is one-two weeknight shift and 2-3 weekends per month including Sundays.

Requirement -1 year Acute Hospital Dialysis experience required. Willingness to travel to other BSW facilities as needed

Job Summary

As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system. This prevents complications and delays. Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.

  • As a Procedural Registered Nurse, use careful clinical judgment. Assess patients and prioritize their needs. Create and adjust care plans for better results.

  • Accredited program
  • 1 year Acute Hospital Dialysis experience required.
  • A major focus or specialization in Nursing.
  • Ideally, some relevant professional experience, though less than a (1) one year would suffice.
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within (30) thirty days of hire or transfer.
