Job summary

Avita Health System in Bucyrus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Administration Department. This role will set up, perform and troubleshoot dialysis treatments across our campuses, coordinate with nephrologists, and ensure patient advocacy aligned with the facility’s mission.

Travel to all campuses is required. You will access catheters and fistulas, follow established standards of practice, and document care thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent diploma/associate degree with nursing experience.
• Active BLS certification.
• Active ACLS certification.
• Current Ohio RN license.

Responsibilities

• Set up, perform and troubleshoot dialysis treatments across campuses.
• Coordinate dialysis care with nephrologists and prioritize therapies.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Administration Department at our Bucyrus location.

Position Overview

This role will be responsible to set up, perform and take down dialysis treatments on a variety of patients. Must be able to travel to all campuses and be able to prioritize dialysis therapies with nephrologist based on the patient needs. Must be able to access dialysis catheters and fistulas for dialysis treatments. Must be able to follow established standards of practice. Must be able to charge and document effectively. Must maintain role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic progra1 to 2 years nursing experience in acute care/critical care environment.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in State of Ohio.
