Job summary

Avita Health System's Bucyrus Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department team. You will provide professional nursing care, coordinate with multidisciplinary staff, and prioritize patient needs to ensure safe, efficient flow in a fast-paced ED.

Candidates must hold an Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS (within 3 months), PALS (within 6 months), and TNCC (within 1 year); 1–2 years ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Ohio RN license and current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• TNCC within one year of hire.
• Preferred ED experience within the last 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate care planning with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prioritize patient care based on needs and flow; communicate changes to ED physicians.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and treatment responses.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our EmergencyDepartment at our Bucyruslocation.

Position Overview

Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS certified within 3 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC within one year of hire.

Preferred:

• 1 – 2 years Registered Nurse experience within the last 24months.
