Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and effective nursing care based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Administers medications and performs treatments per policies.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and support discharge planning.
• Applies critical thinking to identify changes in patient condition and intervene.
• Educates patients and families using teach-back for engagement and safe transitions.
• Adheres to safety protocols and infection prevention practices.
• Uses Health First technology systems for documentation and care plans.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Supports precepting, mentoring, and onboarding of new staff and students.
• Promotes bedside communication and a culture of purpose and rounding.
