Job summary

Monterey Park Hospital in California seeks a Registered Nurse for the Day Surgery Department. This part-time, 8-hour day shift position reports to the Director of Surgical Services.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• One year of acute care hospital experience in Med/Surg or Outpatient Surgery Department preferred.
• Current CA RN license; BLS required. ACLS & PALS required or within 2 months of employment.
• Proficiency in both written and oral English.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, treatment, counseling, and health education to hospitalized patients.
• Plan and coordinate care from admission through post-discharge.
• Meet and exceed CDPH, The Joint Commission (TJC), and other regulatory requirements.
