Monterey Park Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg Unit on a full-time 12-hour day shift, reporting to the Director of Med/Surg. The RN will provide care, education, and coordination from admission through post-discharge, with emphasis on core measures and quality improvements.

Qualifications include CA RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and English proficiency; BSN preferred and new graduates welcome to apply for this demanding, patient-focused role.

Qualificações

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program; BSN preferred.
• CA RN license required; BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required.
• 1 year acute care experience preferred; new graduates welcome; strong communication in English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care, treatment, counseling, and health education to the hospitalized patient.
• Plan and coordinate care from admission through post-discharge, meeting core measures and reducing LOS.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality, safety, and patient service and meet regulatory requirements.
