Job summary

Gaudenzia is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift in Crownsville, MD. Rotating weekends and holidays required. Compensation ranges from $44 to $48 per hour, with full benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Education includes an accredited Practical Nursing program with current LPN/RN license and CPR certification; new grads welcome. Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, patient education, and coordination of care across teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
• Must have good standing LPN or RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial nursing assessment within 24 hours of admission.
• Arrange health care provider appointments for physicals and required screenings.
• Administer medications and supervise self-administered meds where allowed.
• Maintain inventory and accurate medical records.
• Counsel clients on nutrition, health care, self-care and symptom management.
• Ensure clients have medical coverage for safety and care.
• Ensure proper storage of supplies.
• Assist in staff training, retreats, workshops and events.
• Implement health seminars on HIV/AIDS, nutrition and mental health.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and ensure infection control compliance.
• Provide education on health, nutrition, safety, and medication compliance.
• Maintain LPN license with good standing.
• Other duties as assigned.
