Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process. The role requires coordinating care with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate outcomes.

The RN will participate in all phases of care, may serve as charge nurse, and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, ensuring safe, reliable care under Minnesota regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with Minnesota Board of Nursing or multistate license in NCLEX compact.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Coordinate care with residents, families and interdisciplinary team.
• Perform resident assessments, education and care planning.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff within competence.
