Job summary

Wellstar Health System at Columbia County Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality bedside care within a collaborative patient care team. The role focuses on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in a supportive environment.

You will participate in performance improvement, maintain licensure, and uphold confidentiality and safety while advancing Shared Governance through team initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required or higher.
• RN license (or compact license) preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates patient conditions and assists with the care plan.
• Delivers care per plan, documents changes, and coordinates with the care team.
• Prioritizes daily patient flow and ensures a safe, high-quality environment.
• Supports patient and family education and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Upholds confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
