Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse at Columbia County Medical Center in Georgia. This full-time, day-shift role involves delivering high-quality patient care as part of the patient care team, coordinating care plans, and upholding safety and professional standards.

The RN will participate in performance improvement, maintain licensure, mentor others, and support shared governance while ensuring compassionate, family-centered care and excellence in service delivery.

Qualifications

• Associates or diploma in nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RN licensure required upon hire; multi-state compact preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire per policy.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Care Coordination: Monitor, assess and evaluate patient conditions; support care plans.
• Patient Advocacy and Satisfaction: Communicate with patients and families; ensure patient and family-centered care.
• Performance Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and quality outcomes.
• Professional Competency and Growth: Maintain licenses and certifications; pursue ongoing training.
• Professional Leadership: Mentor and support other nurses; participate in governance and teamwork.
• Other duties as assigned; comply with Wellstar policies and code of conduct.

Education

Associates Nursing or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's Nursing-Preferred
