Job summary

Southern Health Partners (SHP) is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Wood County Jail in Wisconsin. The Day Shift Rotation offers a structured schedule with 12-hour shifts and every other weekend built into the rotation.

In this correctional healthcare setting, you’ll provide direct nursing care, perform assessments, administer medications, develop care plans, and coordinate with the health team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a secure correctional healthcare setting.
• Conduct nursing assessments, evaluate patient conditions, and recognize changes requiring intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members to coordinate patient care.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies with sound clinical judgment and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and medical records.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and patient-focused healthcare environment.
