Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a registered nurse to independently apply the nursing process for a group of patients, delivering high-quality care within a collaborative team including physicians, other staff, and the patient’s family.

In this role, you will ensure compliance with the California Nurse Practice Act while providing safe, therapeutic care across shifts, working days in a nonprofit regional health network known for patient experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license is required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, and family.
• Utilize the nursing process to safely and efficiently care for a group of patients.
• Ensure compliance with the California Nurse Practice Act, Article 2, Section 2725.
