Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide independent, patient-centered care for an identified patient group. You will coordinate with physicians and the care team to deliver safe and effective nursing services, guided by policy and procedure.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, communicating with families, and ensuring compliance with the California Nurse Practice Act. The role supports acute care across PIH Health facilities in the Los Angeles area.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license is required.
• BLS from American Heart Association required.
• LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment (PHGSH only) required.
• Six months of experience or acceptance in/completion of a New Grad/Internship program.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process for a group of patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, other departments, and patients’ families.
• Ensure compliance with the California NPA, Article 2, Section 2725.
