Job summary

Mercy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) in Missouri. You will utilize the nursing process to provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, and promote optimal patient outcomes in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain accountability for assigned patient care and evaluate care effectiveness.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Involve patients and families in care decisions and provide education.
• Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments and care plans.
• Participate in patient handoffs using SBAR and bedside reporting.
• Communicate patient status to providers and the healthcare team.
