Job summary

Mercy’s Neurology Unit (8 East) seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on the day shift. You’ll perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate with physicians and therapy teams, and document care in a patient-centered, Mercy‑driven environment.

Ideal candidates include graduates from ADN/ Diploma/BSN programs with Missouri RN licensure and BLS certification. BSN, prior hospital experience, and specialty certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and care coordination.
• Document care and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with Mercy values.
