Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Day shift, 7am–7:30pm. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, maintaining an active RN license (state or compact), and Basic Life Support certification (or completion within 30 days of hire).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintain accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
