Job summary

Mercy Hospital South, Missouri, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day-shift position (36 hours per week, 7am–7:30pm). The RN will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate care with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license (compact licensure accepted). BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
• Works full-time days, 36 hours per week, 7am–7:30pm.
