Avera 7th Avenue Clinic in Sioux Falls is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse/LPN to join our regular day-shift team. This role delivers professional nursing care under the direction of the provider, coordinates patient care across the clinic, and supports procedures, treatments, and testing for a diverse patient population.

You may be eligible for a $6000 sign-on bonus and Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, with monthly contributions to reduce principal.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license required at hire.
• Ability to perform professional nursing duties as part of a care team.
• Strong communication with patients and colleagues to ensure safe, effective care.

Responsabilités

• Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards. Coordinates patient care activities for the clinic.
• Prepares equipment and assists provider during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing of patients.
• Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition and reactions to drugs and treatments to provider.
• Oversees appointment scheduling and ensures timely flow of patients, prioritizing emergencies when needed.
• Greets patients and conducts nursing assessments, documenting information in patient charts and educating on processes and tests.
