Job summary

Avera Yankton clinic is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver professional nursing care in a multidisciplinary team. You will communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The role requires RN licensure in the state, strong patient communication skills, and the ability to coordinate care efficiently. Day shifts, Monday–Friday, with a 40-hour work week and potential sign-on bonuses for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with active state license.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients and administers prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Assists providers during procedures, examinations, and testing of patients.
• Observes, records, and reports patient conditions and responses to treatments to the provider.
• Manages appointment scheduling and maintains efficient patient flow in the clinic.
• Greet patients and prepare them for exams, obtain health history, take vitals, and conduct nursing assessments.
• Educates patients and families about diagnostic processes, medications, nutrition, and health maintenance.
• Responds to patient calls in a timely manner and collaborates with physicians on care
• Maintains exam rooms and ensures necessary supplies and proper labeling of specimens.
