Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) at our Bismarck facility. The role focuses on utilizing the nursing process to deliver individualized resident care and collaborating with residents, families and a broad care team to plan, implement and evaluate care plans.

The position requires graduating from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Multistate licensure, competencies and certifications are also considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Collaborates with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Provides coordination of care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
