Qualifications

  • Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Texas RN license required or eligible for temp permit.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience required.
  • Pediatric experience required.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • PALS certification.
  • Competent in Windows OS and EMR.
  • EPIC experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, delegate, and coordinate quality nursing care.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers and leadership.
  • Deliver family-centered, child-focused care according to the nursing process.
  • Act as preceptor, charge nurse, or competency validator.
  • Participate in committees or task forces and support organizational change.
  • Commit to ongoing education, licensure, and clinical competency.
