Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lees Summit, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Recovery Unit. Schedule: Weekend Work Program – Days. The WWP requires clinicians to work 2 twelve-hour shifts each Saturday and Sunday and is paid at time and a half.

You will deliver high-quality care for patients undergoing PCI, pacemaker placements, IR, and other acute cardiac conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while supervising patient care tasks.

Formación

• Active RN license in Missouri or eligible for licensure
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality nursing care for cardiovascular/post-procedure patients
• Monitor vitals, labs and intervene as needed
• Coordinate care plans and supervise support staff

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, as well as managing acute and critical diagnoses. The RN functions with a high degree of clinical judgement, accountability, and critical thinking while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.## ## **Patient Population & Clinical Focus**The RN will care for patients with, but not limited to:* Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)* Pacemaker placement* Peripheral vascular procedures* Interventional radiology (IR) procedures* Respiratory failure* DKA/insulin drips* Post–STEMI recovery* Other acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnosesIn hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
