Saint Luke's East Hospital in Missouri seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Recovery Unit (CVRU). The RN will care for patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures with strong clinical judgment and teamwork.

The Weekend Work Program requires two 12-hour day shifts each Saturday and Sunday, with pay at time and a half. This role supports high-quality patient care in a busy cardiovascular unit.

Formación

• Less than 1 year applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Registered Nurse – Associate Degree
• Part Time Day (United States of America)

Schedule

Weekend Work Program - Days. This position is a weekend work position. The WWP requires clinicians to work 2-12 hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday, and is paid at time and a half. Work two shifts, get paid for three!

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, as well as managing acute and critical diagnoses. The RN functions with a high degree of clinical judgement, accountability, and critical thinking while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Patient population & Clinical Focus

• Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
• Pacemaker placement
• Peripheral vascular procedures
• Interventional radiology (IR) procedures
• Respiratory failure
• DKA/insulin drips
• Post–STEMI recovery
• Other acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnoses

In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients.

Job Requirements
