Saint Luke's East Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Recovery Unit (CVRU) on a Weekend Work Program with days shifts. This part-time role requires two 12-hour weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and offers time-and-a-half pay for weekend hours.

You will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures while coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Less than 1 year of applicable clinical experience
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in applicable state or compact license

Position: Registered Nurse - CVRU

Schedule: Weekend Work Program - Days. This position is a weekend work position.

The WWP requires clinicians to work 2-12 hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday, and is paid at time and a half.

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, as well as managing acute and critical diagnoses. The RN functions with a high degree of clinical judgement, accountability, and critical thinking while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Patient Population & Clinical Focus

• Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
• Pacemaker placement
• Peripheral vascular procedures
• Interventional radiology (IR) procedures
• Respiratory failure
• DKA/insulin drips
• Post-STEMI recovery
• Other acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnoses

In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process.

Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients.
