Job summary

Saint Luke's East Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Recovery Unit (CVRU) on a Weekend Work Program with days shifts. This part-time role requires two 12-hour weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and offers time-and-a-half pay for weekend hours.

You will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures while coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable clinical experience
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in applicable state or compact license

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures and managing acute and critical diagnoses.
• Utilize the nursing process in the hospital setting.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and supervise other patient care staff.
