Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced RN for the CVICU in Glenbrook, IL. This full-time night position (7pm-7:30am) covers 36 hours per week with rotating weekends, in a high-acuity critical care setting.

Applicants must hold IL RN licensure; BSN preferred, with BLS/CPR for healthcare providers. Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience preferred; ECMO or Impella pump experience is advantageous.

• Registered Nurse licensed in IL.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS/CPR for Healthcare Provider required.
• Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience preferred; ECMO/Impella experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will need

License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

Education: BSN degree preferred

Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required

Experience: Minimum 1-year current hospital nursing experience preferred. Ecmo or Impella pump experience preferred
