Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a dedicated RN for Critical Care in the Medical ICU, located in Glenview, IL. The position is full-time with night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am, requiring 36 hours per week. Candidates must hold a current Illinois Nursing Licensure and preferably have a BSN degree and CPR certification.

This role includes providing comprehensive nursing care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding patient care personnel, all while promoting high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• Minimum 1-year current hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.

Skills

Hourly Pay Range

36.00 - 55.80 $ per hour. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
