Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a CVICU/CTICU role focused on complex cardiovascular care. You will monitor patients, manage meds and ventilators, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years CVICU or critical care nursing experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification. Knowledge of post-cardiac surgery patients is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing required.
• 1–2 years CVICU/ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Post-cardiac surgery and critically ill cardiovascular patient experience preferred.
• RN license active required.
• BLS, ACLS required; CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and continuously monitor critically ill cardiovascular patients, including vital signs, rhythms, and hemodynamic status.
• Manage medications, IV therapies, blood products, and vasoactive meds.
• Monitor ventilation, drains, invasive lines, and critical care equipment.
• Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies and hemodynamic instability.
• Provide post-operative cardiac surgery care and monitor for complications.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, respiratory therapists, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Job Summary:
Provides specialized critical care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including cardiac surgery and acute cardiac complications. Performs continuous monitoring, manages advanced therapies, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary cardiovascular care team.

Education & Experience:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.

1–2 years of CVICU, ICU, cardiovascular, or critical care nursing experience preferred.

Experience with post-cardiac surgery and critically ill cardiovascular patients is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

BLS certification required.

ACLS certification required.

CCRN certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
