Description:Average daily census is 34.Total number of rooms is 40.Total number of beds is 40.Patient age group includes adults and geriatrics.Staffing ratio is 1:2.Floating required between critical care and medical-surgical units.Will float to inpatient floors when needed with a maximum ratio of 1:3.May be asked to act as a patient sitter if needed.Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.Patient diagnoses include acute stroke, respiratory failure, COVID-19, and pneumonia.Special procedures performed in this unit include ECMO, balloon pump, IVP, and CRRT.Special equipment includes Impella, CRRT, and Arctic Sun/Gaymar.All travelers will float within the service line.Travel experience is not required for submission.Compliance deadlines will be determined based on start date.Mandatory certifications must be obtained by the compliance deadline.Fit testing may be required; specific grooming may be required for compliance.Modules related to onboarding must be completed within specified time frames.Maximum of 7 days of requested time off is permitted.No time off is allowed during the first week of the assignment.All required skills must be screened prior to submission.
