Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse for CVICU to deliver specialized care for post-operative cardiac patients. You will manage ventilated patients, titrate vasoactive infusions, and monitor advanced hemodynamics, including ECMO/IABP as needed.
ICU experience with open-heart recovery is essential. Responsibilities include arterial line management, ABG interpretation, central line care, and adherence to PPE and infection control.

Must-Have:
Must have CVICU experience or open heart experience.
Description:RTO after booking is not allowed.Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to a cancellation.Required skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.Experience with ECMO and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) is necessary.Candidates must have experience with post-cardiac surgery care directly from the OR.Pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring experience is required.Familiarity with Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) is essential.Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD) experience is required.Candidates should be proficient in arterial line management.Blood product administration skills are necessary.Central line care and management experience is required.Continuous IV sedation management experience is essential.Candidates must be able to titrate cardiac drips.Care of ventilated patients is required.Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) is necessary.Knowledge of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
Preferred skills include accessing and managing ports.Candidates should be able to titrate vasoactive drips.Assisting with chest tube insertion and removal is preferred.BiPAP/CPAP management experience is a plus.High flow nasal cannula (HFNC) knowledge is desirable.Ventilator management experience is required.
Patient diagnoses include post-open heart recovery.The unit also handles thoracotomies, esophagogastrectomies, and TAVR.Special procedures include CRRT, Impella, and IABP management.Floating may be required within the facility.Weekend work is expected every other weekend.
