Job summary

Job description

Must-Have:

• Previous charge experience required
• Experience with interpreting and managing dysrhythmias
• Experience with multi-system organ failure
• Experience with post-cardiac surgery management
• Experience with ECMO, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, and Impella required
• Knowledge of IV insulin protocols and chronic and acute renal failure preferred
• Competence in CVVHD and CRRT required

Description:The position requires three 12-hour night shifts per week.

The work schedule includes every other weekend, with six weekend shifts over the contract duration.

Individualized scheduling may be available.

Holidays may be required as needed.

Floating to various locations may be necessary.

Travelers may float between different campuses as required.

Experience in an Intensive Care Unit is preferred.

Successful candidates must have proficiency in performing sheath removal and transcatheter aortic valve replacement.

Experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, and central line care is essential.

Candidates should be able to start IVs and manage continuous IV sedation.

The care of ventilated patients, as well as the interpretation of arterial blood gases, is required.

Skills in suctioning and ventilator management are also necessary.

The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, and respiratory failure.

Candidates should be familiar with procedure protocols for chest tube insertion and management.

The environment includes interdisciplinary support from various teams and specialists.
