Job summary

Riverside Health System in Smithfield, Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide total nursing care under supervision of nurse manager and director in the Critical Care/Telemetry units. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, develop care plans based on patient needs and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

This role requires ADN/BSN/MSN, 2 years RN experience, VA RN license, CPR/BLS. Night shift 7p-7a.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN/MSN required for education.
• 2 years of clinical RN experience required.
• RN license in Virginia (VDHP) required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and plan care using standards of practice.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and transitions.
• Educate patients and families and tailor discharge instructions.
• Document care and ensure compliance with RHS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Delegate and prioritize tasks to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and adapt care as needed.
