Job summary

Regency Hospital - Upstate is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient post-ICU team. The role focuses on compassionate care for chronically critically ill patients, with an emphasis on meticulous assessment, documentation, and collaboration with the care team.

The position offers a structured orientation, opportunities for advancement, and benefits supporting well-being. Schedule is days, 7am–7pm, located at Regency Hospital - Upstate.

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• BLS certification is required at hire.
• ACLS certification is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Conduct timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
