Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Night Super Pool position. The RN will provide high-quality patient care across ICU/PCU and Med-Surg as needed, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN license (or compact), and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Previous critical care experience is preferred. The facility is part of HCA Healthcare, known for extensive patient services and education

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Must hold a Texas RN license or compact license.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in critical care, ICU, hospital within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Determine health status and health needs of patients through interpretation of health data and preventive practice.
• Provide individualized nursing care using a systematic approach.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Implement nursing care within RN scope of practice and regulatory guidelines.
• Educate patients/families and develop teaching plans for health promotion and restoration.
• Care for multiple patients directly or via delegation to team members.
