Essentia Health in Duluth, MN, is seeking an ICU/critical care RN to provide comprehensive nursing care in neurotrauma, acute stroke, and burn specialties. You will participate in assessment, planning, and evaluation, delivering holistic care tailored to each patient, with strong teamwork and autonomous practice.
The role is 0.75 FTE on 12-hour day/night shifts with weekends and holidays. Requires BSN or ADN and current ICU experience, BCLS and ACLS within set timelines.

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
ADN: $7,500
BSN: $10,000
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
Current ICU RN with a minimum of 9 months’ experience or within the last year as an ICU RN (equivalent to 1248 hours). Including experience with various vasoactive medications, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Definition: these hours could come from a combination of varied FTE’s or hours worked within the last year to equate to 1248.
