Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• RN license in states where patients receive care; eligibility to practice.
• BLS/CPR required; PALS within 6 months; NRP within 6 months; ACLS within 6 months.
• TPATC/TNCC/ATLS within 6 months; CFRN/CTRN/C-NPT within 18 months; STABLE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join the Med Flight Critical Care Transport Team to respond when a critically ill baby or child needs transport to advanced care.
• Use expertise in emergency and ICU care with life-sustaining Med Flight equipment and a respiratory therapist partner to safely transport patients from neonates to teenagers by ground and air.
• Work under the guidance of a UW Health attending physician who specializes in transport medicine and pediatric critical care.
