Qualifications

• BSN in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in acute care preferred.
• Current RN License in PA & NY.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS is unit dependent.
• Specialty Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through Medical‑Surgical Units across Guthrie’s hospital system.
• Support patient care and relieve unit staff.
• Ensure smooth clinical operations.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care.
• Develop, update, and coordinate the patients' plan of care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care in care planning.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and healthcare team members.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and practice at the top of license.
• Demonstrate leadership as change agents within the care setting.
