Job summary

Guthrie in Sayre, PA, is seeking an RN - Clinical Research Float to coordinate multiple clinical research protocols across in-patient and out-patient settings. The role requires deep knowledge of disease pathophysiology, pharmacology, patient evaluation workflows, and the ability to communicate new research processes with involved departments.

Candidates must be licensed in PA and NY, with dual licensure within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in PA and NY; dual licensure within 3 months of hire.
• Five years clinical healthcare experience or BSN with 3 years nursing experience or CRP certification.
• Three years full-time nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple clinical research projects across disease conditions.
• Meet sponsor training requirements and train team members accordingly.
• Support regulatory specialists with sponsor communications and IRB activities.
• Maintain study supply inventory and assist monitors during visits.
• Develop and advance department research program plans with leadership.
• Schedule patient visits, educate on study requirements, and document encounters.
• Administer investigational medications ordered by licensed physicians.
• Travel between Guthrie research sites as required.
