Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Center in Minnesota. The role involves rotating 7a-7:30p shifts with weekends and holidays, providing care in a 13-bed unit with 24-hour intensivist coverage.

Requirements include a Mass RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 6–12 months of recent critical care experience; BSN and CCRN are preferred. Staff may be floated to other units as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 13-bed Critical Care Center with 24-hour intensivist coverage.
• Float to areas as needed per staffing requirements; maintain patient safety.

Job Description:

UNIT DESCRIPTION:

The Critical Care Center is a 13-bed critical care unit with 24 hourintensivistcoverage that serves adult and geriatric patients with medical and/or surgical issues.

Preference will be given, by seniority, to those qualified nurses who were serially displaced within the 18 months following his/her displacement accordingMNAcontract section 9.4 (f)(1).

Minimum Requirements :

• Current Mass RN license
• Current AHABLSandACLScertification required.
• At least 6months-1 year recent (within the last 12months)critical care experience required; ability to demonstrate competency in core critical care skills: ventilator management,vasoactiveand sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiacdysrhythmiarecognition and management, postSTEMIcare; evidence of relevant continuing education

Recommended Requirements :

• BSN &CCRNPreferred.
• Documented professional development activities.

As with all job assignments, staff may befloated to areas where they are needed.

Pay Range:

$37.14 - $82.22

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms ofthe applicable collective bargainingagreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
